There's a lot that can be said for these headphones, but they are best left to speak for themselves. The audio quality is amazing for live work or DJing where you need clear audio in a loud environment such as a club. I've used these personally for a few years now and have never had to buy another pair. They are built to last with travel in mind.
For DJing these phones are definitely top notch in performance where there is a direct loud counter noise coming from another source. With these over your ears you'll barely hear anything else outside of the ear cup.
I originally thought the price was a bit high for a pair of phones when I compared to others that were on the market at the time, but after testing them out in the studio and at a live performance vs. other brands I was sold. I've been through several other pairs of headphones in just simple studio use that wore out after several months of daily use but the sony's still look exactly the same as when I bought them.
