| groove10's Full Review: Kenwood CD-323M 200-Disc CD Changer |
The CD-223M CD changer by Kenwood has served me well for over two years now and I have never once been unsatisfied with my purchase. The quality of this component is unsurpassed when viewed in relation to other CD changers of similar size. Yet, for those of you people who have enough money for a high-end changer the CD-223M may not be the right piece to finish off your wonderful stereo.
There are so many wonderful features in this component that it would literally take a half an hour to write them all down and since I don't have that kind of time, I'll only tell you about the very best functions.
1) Can change cd's on the fly while one is playing
2) Has CD text so you can program it to display the artist and song name, and if your CD already come with this feature, then NO programming
3) Can read burned CD's with the CD text, so if you make your own they come out perfect
4) It holds 200 cd's!!! Damn that's a lot of music
5) It only costs $200! For that price you can't even buy a single disk Harmon/Kardon player!
6) Kenwood components are wonderful pieces especially if you have a Kenwood Tuner because they work together on the same remote!
OK, now I guess I have to tell you about the bad parts of this component. The major gripe I have about this piece is that it makes too much noise when turning the CD's. And one time a CD got stuck inside and I had to take out all the CD's in order to free the stuck one (It happened to be a 2 Pac cd so I think that it threatened the CD not to let it go or something). Anyway, this CD changer is a great component if you have a large CD collection and don't have much money to spend on a large changer. The CD-223M is a real winner!!
