I have been a loyal Kenwood owner since I bought a 6+1 CD changer from them inn 1988. After 10 years of moving between college, home, and now a job, it took a beating and it was time to upgrade. I chose this CD Changer because it was afforable, and it was a Kenwood. I own about 200 CDs so I thought it would be a good idea to have them all in a CD changer. That has its good and bad points. First the good. Any CD is at the touch of a button. You can search all the CDs for the title you are looking for. The sound quality is of course excellent. Now the bad. A 200 disc CD changer is quite large. About the height of 1.5 CDs, but its about 5 inches deeper than your normal audio component, so fitting it into an entertainment center is tough. Also, you have to type in the name of each CD. When you have over 200, this can take quite a long time, but its worth it. But the one thing that drives me nuts is when I take CDs out to take with me on the road, if you don't put them back in the same slots as when you took them out, the names won't match up. This Kenwood CD player is an excellent value, but I would recommend going with a smaller number of discs in the CD player. Perhaps 10.
