| mrgetit's Full Review: Technics SL-PD888 5-Disc CD Changer |
I like it
When I went out in 1999 and got my new stereo, I spent over three-hundred dollars on my receiver, and I wanted a cd player, that wasn't as much, but just as good. So, after looking around and talking to some other customers in the store at the time, I decided on the Technics SL-PD888.
Now it only holds five cd's, but that doesn't bother me.
While you're playing a cd, you can open the slot, and replace other cd's without the one playing having to stop.
You can play random from one cd or all of the cd's in the player. Also, it has a timer to set it for a time when you want it to start.
My kids like it more
Now with the boys, when I have music in, we have to dance, and with all the jumping around we do, the cd player has never skipped. That is a big plus, my old one would skip and we wouldn't even be dancing. I also noticed that when I have cd's with a lot of scratches, it almost never effects how it sounds. The quality of music is great, with new or old or even with cd's I burn.
Keeps playing and playing
It has been a couple of years since I have had my cd player. It has been through a lot with two little boys always playing with it when I'm not watching (like right now), and it still plays and sounds as good as the first day I got it.
