Thanks for the compliment -- and also, I'm not sure that their turntables are a whole lot more expensive...you might want to double-check on that.

The sound is excellent, although with a home stereo, obviously, the sound quality has a whole lot more to do with the quality of the receiver than that of any of the other individual components. Also, of course, the speakers are important. That having been said, I've found the sound quality to be just fine.

Man.. if only Technics turntables were as cheap as their disc changer.. I'd be so ecstatic as to mess myself on the spot.
