| oesterly's Full Review: Panasonic SL-S265 Personal CD Player |
I purchased this CD player SEVEN years ago in Japan when the early model came out. It came with a pair of headphones that had a small remote piece attatched to them so you could stash the CD player in your bag, and control tracks, play/stop, and volume from the little remote on your headphones. I found this to be very cool and useful
when I went on trips or on long car rides. The headphones' quality wasn't the best, because of their small size but you can't really expect excellent quality from small earpiece headphones.
It also offers DSSP which is really good for bumpy rides, but it eats up battery power like crazy. I recommend getting Panasonic rechargeable batterys, which also last a long time. (I have only bought two pairs of these when I bought the CD player and they last FOREVER!)
I can't even count how many times I have dropped the CD player from atop a 3 foot desk, and once down a flight of stairs! This thing is like a tank!!
It has worked everytime for the past 7 years up until now, which I am sad to say. I would definetily buy another Panasonic.
