I bought the CD Jogger because it supposedly would not skip when I ran. It even comes with a convenient strap so you can hook it around your waist and run with it. However, if you really try running, it skips like mad. It can handle walking, and this is nice, but really trying to run with it is a challenge.
Another feature of the product that I find frusterating is that to get optimal skip reduction, you have to have it in the hold mode as it plays. However, hold mode prevents you from being able to skip forward or backward on the cd, so if you want to change songs, you have to stop, release the hold, change songs, and then re-engage hold. While this is not the biggest problem ever, it is annoying when you are trying to get a good workout.
On a good note, the cd player performs very well when working out on a machine at the gym. It does deal with small vibrations much better than other cd players I've seen, so it does work well in doors when it is sitting on a treadmill.
The battery life is also good, and it's nice that you can turn the machine completly off and lock it to prevent it from accidently turning on and running the battery down.
