| duff4cy's Full Review: Panasonic SL-S360 Personal CD Player |
My main complaints about the SL-S360 have to do with its features. I don't like that it defaults to auto-repeat and turns the bass boost off each time you turn it on. I wish it remembered my settings from the last time I used it.
Once I forgot to turn off the auto-repeat, closed the player in my desk drawer, went home for the weekend and returned to find the batteries dead. Yes, I am partly to blame for that, but I think it should default the other way around (you turn ON the auto-repeat if you want it).
I also have had trouble with the resume function on the player. Sometimes when I switch to a new disc it resumes where the OLD disc left off.
The sound quality is pretty good, although it does distort at high volumes more than past players I have owned. If you keep the volume at moderate levels it sounds fine.
Even with these relatively minor annoyances this is a pretty good player for the money. Keep your eyes open, I've seen it on clearance on the internet for as little as $40.
