The best part of the CD player is the 40 second anti-shock memory. On a car trip the CD player flew off the seat and onto the floor a couple of times, yet it did not skip. I put it in the pouch of my hooded sweatshirt I wear walking to class and it gets thoroughly jostled, but doesn't skip. I purposely made it skip by tapping on it repeatedly, and after about 40 seconds it skipped, displayed a little "sorry" message in the display (a polite CD player, cool), and started playing again.
The major downfall of this CD player would be the display. The angle at which it is set in and the black numbers with the dark background make it hard too read from any distance greater than 12 inches (if you plug it into a car, the display lights up, but I use the CD player for skating and walking). The headphones don't deliver the thumps of bass, which is the other downfall.
It's slim and sleek styling give it a nice look and can be slipped into pouches and other places. The buttons are of good size and are organized for easy use.
All in all, not bad.
