| WesToews's Full Review: Panasonic SL-S361C Personal CD Player |
I bought the SL-S361C so I could bring my music with me, listen in the car, or at home while working. If you want a really rugged CD player this is probably not for you. You'd be better off with a player from the Shockwave series (also by Panasonic). If you want to listen anywhere this CD player will serve you well. Treat it well and it will last a long time. Below is a summary of the pros and cons of the product and its accessories.
player
pros:
small,compact, light
backlit display while using power adapters
good sound quality and extra bass
battery life (says up to 25 hours, I wouldn't doubt it!)
anti-shock (against vertical and horizontal bumps)
easy disc eject
cons:
flimsy (I bought a case to protect my investment)
volume, sometimes not enough
headphones
pros:
good sound quality
cons:
uncomfortable (especially for long periods of listening)
may easily fall out (I bought others)
AC (wall) adapter
pros:
saves battery life
cons:
makes a mess of cords
car kit (cassette adapter, cigarette lighter adapter)
pros:
louder than headphones
allows more people to listen
saves battery life
cons:
cassette adapter has lots of background noise
makes a mess of cords
Recommended:
Yes
