This is by far the best disc man I have ever bought and I've been through quite a lot of them. It's a bit heavier than many others but it's worth it because it is so durable. It's very shock resistant and hardly ever skips. I am constantly dropping everything and the disc man has survived without a scratch.
The one problem is the headphones. I would definitely invest in a better pair. The ones included are uncomfortable and distort the sound a bit. Go for Sony headphones; I find them the best.
One warning: If you plan on using this for jogging you may want to consider a smaller/ more portable option but other than that, it's great for everyone who listens to CD's.
