Proud owner of the Sharp VL-610U Viewcam Camcorder. This little video item is a great investment. Especially when you have children. It has great resolution for something so small but yet so power packed. Very easy to use. One of my favorite features is the viewscreen. I am not a rocket scientist and do need to see what I am recording. It is very light weight, easy to handle, controls are right at your fingertips in the appropriate places allowing you to reach with comfort, any control it has. It comes with a tiny remote control so you can even film yourself in with the group. The big bulky camcorders are too awkward for me. This one is held and operated with one hand. It also has the "Quick Return" feature. This allows you to view what you have recorded then return to recording again where you left off.
Also it has the Auto/Manual Focus options. It is fun to use! We have used it on everything from recording baseball games, school programs, sight seeing, yes while traveling down the road. Very clear and crisp picture.
