The camera seems to have more features than one can learn in a day. In fact I think there is a tendency to forget a lot of available options that make the final video look really professional. I was quite pleased with both the picture quality and the video detail and clarity. The zoom on the product is excellent – 320X.
The life span of the battery is quite good – about hour and a half. It does however dwindle considerably with use of the LCD feature.
The camera is very light and quite small – much less bulky than the 35mm camera I usually carry around. It is small enough to fit your cargo pants pocket. Smaller units are however available on the market.
Some of the complaints that I have is the plethora of cords and attachments. The Sony model has a lot of the cords built in so as to eliminate confusion. Also it would be nice to be able to save or reject a picture shot – something that is not available in this model – ones a pictures shot is taken then one does not have the option of discarding it.
Overall, this is a great camera and a must have for vacation trips. I really wish I would have gotten it sooner.
