Pros: light, simple to use, relatively cheap, lots of everyday features, good battery life
Cons: video quality not top of the line, can't plug it into computer out of box

This could be one big elaborate hoax too. There might not be any baby, and I could have written this not based on actual events. One thing I learned in college is to never trust everything you read on the internet.

I love this camcorder. Being a first time user of one, I found it to be easy and straight forward to use. A real plus for those of us who are learning to use a camcorder for the first time, and who dont want a bunch of features we wont ever have the use for!
