I purchsed the TRV-103 almost a year ago, and I absolutely love it. It has a 360X digital zoom, and 4 levels of "Nightshot" for shooting all sorts subjects in any light. There are a whole slew of digital effects that can be added during shooting or while copying or viewing the footage shot. That's the coolest. Shoot in color; view in B&W. Add sepia tones, or make the shot widescreen. I have shot everything from scenic vistas, to short films written by me and my co-workers. It has worked well in moonlight, basement light, and virtually no light at all. There are also other effects that can be used when shooting. They include slow shutter framing, digitizing, and even a simulated blue screen type effect (works so-so). I have recommended this camera to a bunch of people and so far only one other has bought it, but he thinks it's great too.
