Pros: Tiny size, APS format, battery life, durability.
Cons: Some people don't care for APS.
The Bottom Line: The only thing holding this camera back from an excellent rating is the fact that better cameras ARE available - just none in this price range.

| sackodimes's Full Review: Canon Elph2 APS Film Camera |
I like my electronics small and powerful. That said, you can understand why I went with this particular camera. It is small, attractive, and full of features. This camera is perfect for the amateur photographer on the go. I spent weeks walking around Europe and wanted to keep my backpack as empty as possible. With the Elph2 in my pocket I was able to take a lot of great pictures with no fuss and stay very portable at the same time. This camera has all of the typical APS features packed into an incredibly small package. The battery life was shocking - I never replaced the battery despite shooting over 25 rolls. I have since shot many more rolls, and I'm still only on my second battery. I'm impressed, to say the least. The picture quality is more than satisfactory. I love my photos, the flash performed well, the zoom is good, and the photos are clear and unblemished. Of course, SLR cameras and such will always perform better, but at this price level, the Elph2 is almost a can't miss. I love my Elph2, and consider it to be a huge bang-for-the-buck success.
