Pros: auto advances, inexpensive, good focus, auto flash
Cons: For one hour processing, you have to take it to photo shop. Walmart can't do one hour on Advantix film

This is a great little camera. It's the best little point and shoot camera for the money. It's convenient. It's effective. And it's very easy to use.
I had recently sold my Canon EOS Rebel Which I loved. And I was going to buy a new one. I decided to go on vacation to Corpus Christi, Texas. But, I didn't want to spend a lot of my vacation money on a new SLR. A decent one would have cost about $400.00. But when I got to Corpus Christi, I decided that I couldn't live without my camera. So, I decided to just get something cheap. And the clerk suggested the Advantix 3700ix. And I said "whatever. They're all the same". I didn't have much appreciation for 'point and shoot' cameras. I thought that I should buy only one roll of film. And, if it didn't work well, I would just try something else. The pictures came out great. So, I bought a few more rolls and went crazy taking pictures.
The film is so easy to load. There's no trouble, whatsoever. You just drop in the roll in the bottom of the camera. You don't have to pull the tab and position just right. And you don't have to snap the picture a couple of times to make sure the film is in just the right spot. After you drop it in. It automatically advances the film to the first frame. You just close it, point, and shoot. It's that easy.
You also have three print sizes. There's the classic, the "H" format for larger photos such as groups, and the panorama for scenic pictures. Anyway, it's a great point and shoot for those of you who like point and shoot. And for those of you who don't, like myself.
