| Heidiepinion's Full Review: Kodak Advantix 4100 IX APS Film Camera |
The 4100ix is the first camera of the ADVANTIX family I've purchased. I love the three different picture options you can choose from. Somehow, the regular 4x6 size doesn't capture the beauty of the Colorado Rockies like a panoramic shot.
It is the second camera with zoom capability I've owned. The first was a CANON SURE SHOT and although it's zoom went to 80 mm, you couldn't stop it in between i.e. it was either 35 mm OR 80 mm. The KODAK 4100 goes from 35 mm to 60 mm and all the in between. A feature I didn't think about until after purchasing the KODAK.
The KODAK 4100 is loaded with features--red eye reduction, auto rewind, advance, and shut off, and a self-timer. Its one drawback when I compare it to my old CANON, the viewfinder is hard to find on quick shots. It's fairly small and would be better placed closer to the left edge.
This camera is light weight and takes great close ups & scenery shots. It's a good buy for those of us who wish to defeat time by capturing the moment on film.
