This new Evoca 140S has definitely changed my mind about Samsung products. I was planning on buying a Nikon Zoom 500 until I saw this Samsung Evoca 140S. I love the fact that I get all the latest technology for such a great price.
I particularly like the Schneider lens which is made in Germany. This camera even has a wireless remote control which is a great feature as well so that you don’t need people to take pictures for you if there are nobody around. And all the great and unique features it contains.
Such as PORTRAIT ZOOM, which enables you maintain a constant subject size within the same frame even though the distance to a subject may be different. It also has STEP ZOOM which lets you take a numerous pictures on the same subject using different focal lengths. CONTINUOUS SHOOTING allows you to take a sequence of pictures.
INTERVAL SHOOTING allows you to take pictures automatically over a selected period of time. BULB SHOOTING enables you to shoot subjects that are exposed to high brightness, or low light such as fireworks or night scenes. SNAP MODE allows you to take pictures where the subject is difficult to focus on, such as pets or children. SWITCHABLE PANORAMA allows you to take panoramic views.
LANDSCAPE MODE enables you to take pictures of subjects from a distance through a window. SELF TIMER can be selected to take a picture of yourself. DOUBLE SELF TIMER allows you to take a shot the same way a self timer shot is taken.
A further shot will be made after 2 seconds. FILL-IN FLASH can be selected when the subject is in the shadows and the surrounding light conditions are too strong for the auto-flash to work. FILL-IN FLASH & BACK-LIGHT CONTROL enables you to take pictures when your subject is strongly back-lit. FILL-IN FLASH & RED EYE REDUCTION should be selected when the subject is in low light conditions.
In the short time I have had my Samsung Evoca I have been very pleased with its performance. I would definitely recommend this camera to other epinion members.
