I purchased this camera about two years ago because it was an Advanced Photo System camera, the kind where you could just drop the film in and it loads it for you. I have destroyed many a roll of 35mm film with my old camera, and I was sick of fighting with it.
I admit, that I chose this camera rather blindly, because I also chose this camera because it has digital options such as telling you what picture you are on, and stamping the time and date onto your pictures. Once I got the camera home and started using it, I was pleasantly surprised on how easy it was to use, and the other features that it offered. I had a zoom in/out button, as well as a red-eye reducer and a timer so I could set the camera down and get into the picture myself. Another feature that I knew came with the APS film option is the ability to switch picture sizes. I can take three size pictures, including a panoramic shot which has become incredibly useful and fun for large landscapes or group shots.
I know that this isn't one of the best camera available these days, but it is perfect for someone like me who is willing to spend a little to take good quality pictures yet is not a professional photographer willing to spend hundreds.
