Pros: Weight, price, lens quality and speed
Cons: For a P&S, none
The Bottom Line: Terrific. Great value, comparably excellent lens, nothing touches it in that price range, and small and light enough to take anywhere.

| rmansell's Full Review: Olympus Stylus Epic DLX 35mm Film Camera |
I bought a Stylus Epic as an addition to my camera collection, to fill the role of a small carry-everywhere "pocket camera" - a camera small and light enough to fit in my pocket. It replaced a Canon Elph that I lost and that I was not satisfied with from a picture quality perspective. I am really happy with my purchase. The camera is terrific value for money, and the picture quality is great for a point and shoot. While I haven't blown up any of the pictures taken with it, the pictures that I have are uniformly sharp and well-focused. In addition, although I haven't used the optional spot metering, the metering in general is also very good. If you are looking for a high-quality, fairly rugged, fast, light point-and-shoot with a better lens than pretty much any camera costing close to $100, I strongly recommend it. I love it.
