I am, by no means, a camera or photography expert and I was looking for a camera that would do all the work for me with just one touch of a button. I must have spent at least 3 weeks researching point-and-shoot cameras and any time I took a "quiz" as to what I was looking for (features, price, looks, etc.), this camera appeared in the grouping every time. "QUIZ" meaning some web sites (productopia.com and epinions, too) have a feature that allows you to input all the features you are looking for. When you are finished, you should have a list of cameras that will suit your needs. I also called several camera shops in my area to ask what they thought the best point and shoots were on the market today. At first, I was partial to a Nikon (I had a one-touch previously), but all the experts said that point and shoots weren't Nikon's strong suit, and that I should try Olympus, Minolta, or Pentax. I have not been disappointed with this camera! I received my purchase in the mail literally the day before I took a vacation to Maine and it took me about 15 minutes before I was pretty proficient in the use of the Olympus Stylus Zoom 70QD. This is the camera for you if you want a mid-range zoom, auto flash/film load/advance/rewind, you name it! The pictures turned out perfectly!!! They weren't fuzzy, grainy, or out of focus. The only thing it doesn't have is the panorama and I wasn't looking for that anyway. I only have GREAT things to say about my purchase (about $134, but I paid $170 for overnight delivery to have it in time for my trip). Plus, it is weatherproof, which is important when you're so close to the water snapping photos! If you are looking for a great value in a quality camera with tons of features, THIS IS YOUR BEST BET!
