This is about the coolest little point-and-shoot camera anyone can have.
It's got a magnificent Carl Zeiss 38mm/f3.5 lens. The exposure metering system is quite capable of handling difficult situations. The Autofocusing system is accurate as long as you point it on the right thing. It's weatherproof so light drizzles is not a problem for the camera. A waist level finder helps you take pictures from wierd angles such as over the top of a crowd or low angle shot close to the ground of small animals or plants.
The camera is light and compact enough to be carried around in a backpack or handbag so it's convenient to be brought along to any location. It comes with a soft pouch and that is a bit odd as it's a dirty green colour. The flash comes with the normal options, daylight fill-in flash, red-eye reduction flash and no flash. The last option is for night scenes.
After using it for a few years now, it's been a great camera to use while on holidays as well as when attending more formal dinners. All in all, it's a camera for all occasions. It looks sporty on holidays, and posch in dinner events.
The things that are lacking in this camera are the features that more advanced photographers would look for like exposure compensation for really difficult lighting, B button exposure and an option to use a remote controlled release although it does have the 10 second timer release which is less convenient than a remote but just as effective.
Hope this review is some help. Definitely, if you don't need a sophisticated feature packed compact, this is one that is worth the money if you just want to have a fun time taking pictures in any occasion without all the fuss.
