| zaheerneph's Full Review: Kyocera FX-3 Super 2000 Film Camera |
Well guys, if u wanna be a real man with a 35 mm, this is the horse to ride on. 35 mm SLR is an entity INVENTED by CONTAX (1940s). LENSE is an entity meaning only CARL ZIESS (Germany). Yashica FX-3/super/2000 is a boy even NIKON would respect for NIKON (the company, post WW2) was born on the very footsteps of CONTAX/ZIESS. This is the family history this YASHICA carries. Don't back off when sombody laghs at u carrying this, slap his face with the legend as it is.
I had it 14 yrs back when i started to learn.Today i operate with CANON EOS EOS3 e,t,c,. I still wish to carry a CONTAX with ZIESS lenses, but my economics remind me i probably never will. But at this point of expertise whatever i have, i take pride to carry a FX-3.A great great learner camera, built much reasonable than todays consumer grade SLRs.It is fully manual but u learn fast while using its "green light correct exposure system".
While u toggle with the aperture and the shutter-speed to reach its green dot (in the view-finder)blinking for the right shot, u suddenly hit the very PHILOSOPHY of EXPOSURE.Thats the time u value it.........for life. And one fine morning u learn it takes up CARL ZIESS T lenses, the make that has been serving us in space since 1969.., u arrive to know what a camera born pride is.
