| Dbrain's Full Review: Kyocera FX-3 Super 2000 Film Camera |
This is the second Yashica FX-3 super 2000 I have owned. The first one fell in a frozen lake in the Catskill mountains in upstate New York. This camera is so affordable, that it enables Pro's and amateurs a like to really get the job done right at a minimal cost, and without the worry that you will drop a fortune into a frozen lake trying to photograph some Blue Jays in there nest from a flimsy branch. It has a light weight body that helps with the hand fatigue that is common with a heavy telephoto lens.Yet it is well put together and durable at the same time.It is also quite a good looking camera body, sold in silver or all black body. The metering is center weighted and very accurate. The simplicity of its + and - symbology in the metering display make for very easy use by anyone. It has all metal vertical shutters that enable it to shoot at up to 1/2000 of a second speed. This is quite unheard of at this price range! The biggest plus is that it uses Contax bayonet mount,so you can even use Carl Zeiss lenses on your FX-3!!!!!WOW!!!!!!!!
