Pros: Easy to learn on and not too expensive for this quality of photos

Cons: Needs a bigger Zoom lens which is quite expensive

The Bottom Line: Professional quality photos are a SNAP for even a novice and you will not be overwhelmed by the price tag or the functions of this camera.

I recently purchased this camera for my husband as a gift and have found that even a novice like me can take great pictures. This is an all around camera and whether you use auto focus or are an experienced photographer you can achieve great results. Close-ups are a snap with the red-eye reduction and it is great for taking photos inside and out. This is a light weight camera that is easy to carry along on any outdoor adventure. It comes ready for action with a decent zoom lens, but for those distance shots an upgrade is available for a price. New to the camera purchasing world I was disappointed that the batteries for this camera are so expensive and I found out quickly that you must turn this camera off if you want to preserve the battery life. We have been extremely pleased by the photos we have taken with this camera and all of the functions work just like they are say they will. This camera came with a very informative instruction book and all of the functions and labels on the camera are easy to use and understand. Loading and unloading the film is a snap since this camera is fully automatic.
