I know I am. Every time I got to vacations - I just NEED to take a camera, tons of rolls and the other goodies that go along with it. I sometimes chose to ignore the amounts of money I spend on pictures.
So let me tell you why this camera is so good for your pictures.
First of all - from all my experience with Nikon - and I had another, simpler camera - it's great. The design, the lenses, the results.
Nikon is simply one of the best camera companies out there, and their prices aren't high in the sky, like Pentax and Canon. Their lenses are simply the best, and this is one of the most important factors when chosing a camera (if not the price of course :))
Secondly - the camera is very handy, and can be taken anywhere with you. There is also another thing good about Nikon - their cameras are build to last. They don't break as easily as my good ol' Pentax did (very sad story indeed), and there is almost no danger for the camera if you take care of it.
The options that you have with this camera are quite satisfying. Flash, Zoom, Automatic 10 secs shoot and all the rest that are obvious.
