Pros: Cheap, decent sound.
Cons: Cheap
The Bottom Line: This amp doesn't come close to 400W, I doubt it does even 100W clean. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

| liquidrezin's Full Review: Lanzar Vibe 230 Car Amp |
I got this amp as part of a package deal from some ghetto shop. I thought ok, Lanzar, they make good stuff...
Well, the amp was OK at best. At the time I was using this amp to push 1 10" MBQuart sub. My bass wasn't loud, but I figured this was due to the fact that my sub was only rated at 100Wrms
I decided to upgrade my subs and got 2 IDQ10s. When I hooked up my Lanzar to my new subs, they sounded better than my older setup, but little did I know that my subs weren't getting the power they needed...Judging by the rated power I thought I was giving my subs adequate power... 400W right? WRONG
I bought a new amp to replace the Lanzar...a Phoenix Gold XS2500. When I first turned on my stereo, the bass was SO much louder and SO much cleaner than the Lanzar...My PG is rated at 500W and the Lanzar at 400W?
I know for a fact that my amp does 500Wrms but the Lanzar? It doesn't come anywhere close to the 400W that it has on the amp's cover. At most I think this amp does 100W x 1 clean...seriously. I mean come on, the Vibe is way bigger than my PG, why does it output less power? What a waste of space.
I guess I had to learn the hard way that you can't except more watts for less money by going with a cheaper amp, it just doesn't work.
Do not confuse the Vibe series with the Opti series Lanzar amps however. The OPTI series are actually great amps, but the Vibe..well, that's another story.
As of now the Vibe sits in my dad's car powering that MBQuart sub that I mentioned earlier...luckily he doesn't know any better (plus he doesn't like louder bass) or else he'd be mad at me :)
I guess the Vibe series of amps are of decent quality. I mean the amp itself looks good, looks like it's sturdy, etc, but as far as the internals, theres no question that it's on par with Pyramid or Rockwood, maybe a little better, but not by much.
