Pros: Excellent power, little distortion, low price, looks good.
Cons: No midrange xover or balanced inputs, cant brag to friends about how expensive it was.
The Bottom Line: Unless you're looking to spend a ton of money, you wont find anything better.

| sjwaste's Full Review: US Acoustics USX-4085 Car Amp |
Having blown my second ESX amplifier, which this amp easily set me back $400 new, I'm proud to say that the US Acoustics USX-4085 is a cleaner sounding amp. And at $189 (at Crutchfield, nonetheless!) it can't be beat.
It's crossovers cut cleaner, allowing a better frequency break between my 6.5/1 components in the front and my single 10" subwoofer in the hatch (I don't run rears). The soundstage this amp helps set up is worlds better than amps costing much more.
My only complaints are that it doesn't allow you to enable both the HP and LP crossovers on the front channel pairs, so you can't use it as a midrange amp (not that I attempted to, but I'm just saying). Channels 3+4 have a LP xover only. Also, there are no balanced inputs for those of you with a line driver.
For under $200, though, this amp is stellar. It's rated at 85x4 @ 12.9V, and is clearly underrated. It barely even gets hot, and I do have the gains up to around the 8V mark.
