| stephdog's Full Review: Alpine CHM-S620 6-Disc CD Changer |
I've had my Alpine 6 disc changer since Christmas of 1999, and I have to say I have not listened to the radio once since I got it. I love how I have the freedom of listening to a variety of music with out switching radio stations, and dealing with annoying commercials and static. I have stock speakers in my 1999 Honda Civic, yet I've had several people comment on the quality of the sound. They think I spent a whole lot of money on speakers, when really I have a good quality CD changer.
I drive through bumpy road construction every day, and go over speed bumps frequently, but my changer has never skipped. I've spoke to friends who have the same changer (except for longer than I've had mine) and they say that the skip free quality lasts. So I guess I can draw the conclusion that the product works perfectly for several years.
Another thing I like about having an Alpine changer is the ease of switching CD's. In my old car, I had a regular one disc Alpine CD player, and I nearly killed myself trying to change the CD while driving. With a changer, I can change CD's at the push of a button.
Overall, the Alpine changer is well worth the money.
