I purchased the JVC CH-X200RF 12 Disc Changer for my automobile approximately one year ago. I had only had my car for about 3 months at this time. The X200RF was going to be the firstpiece of car audio equipment that I was going to install myslef. Scary thought, I know!
When I got home I started looking through the box and it seemed a daunting task. However, the instructions made it look quite simple and easy to install. I headed out to my car to install it and within a couple of hours it was in and working perfectly.
The JVC X200RF was a breeze to install even for guys like me who are not car audio installation experts. I truly believe that anyone could install this product quickly and efficiently.
Now lets get to the good stuff. I am sure you want to know how it sounds! Well, being a musician I am very into my sound equipment. Everything in my home stereo setup must be in perfect accoustic balance and I will notice if it isn't! I was amazed at the sound the JVC CD changer put through my factory Infinity speakers. It was a HUGE step above any other cd changer I had heard before. This was true because of the BBE technology in the JVC X200RF. The BBE technology takes into account the smaller and larger wave frequencies of different pitches and works to make all pitches hit your ear at the same time. This makes for unparallel sound quality through any brand of car speakers (although I have recently installed Alpie speakers and subwoofers in my car for added quality).
The remote feature is also very handy. I know you are probably thinking; Why do I need a remote I am only 10 inches from the console. Well, the answer is simple it helps you to keep your eyes on the road and be a safer driver because you are not fumbling to push buttons on your dash.
This is great from driving in winter conditions especiall because you have to be very alert.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the JVC X200RF to anyone who knows what true sound should sound like. JVC is a trusted and respected maker of audio products and they make them very durable and at a very LOW PRICE. I also recommend it for people who really like a variety of music because it does hold 12 CDs rather than the 6 CD changers most companies produce.
