| metermaid's Full Review: Kenwood KDC-C907 CD Changer |
I asked for a CD changer for Christmas two years ago because I wanted to be able to play CDs in my car but didn't want to give up my tape player entirely (which is the reason I wanted a changer instead of an in-dash CD player). My husband bought me one for the car I had at the time, a BMW,
and installed it himself. I loved it! It performed virtually skip-free, I could go back and forth between CDs and tapes with ease, and the controls were a breeze to work. It didn't take up a lot of my trunk space, either. Now I have a different car, and we plan to put the changer in it soon- just haven't gotten around to it yet. I have missed it, though, and can't wait until we reinstall it so I can use it again.
the only drawback that comes to mind is that the installation was not easy. But, I think that's the way it is with ANY CD changer which is mounted in the trunk: because the wiring has to go under the seats, under the carpet, and behind the existing stereo.
