Pros: Great sound, no skipping, CD TEXT, easy to use and install on your own, never had a problem.
Cons: I couldn't find a place on the dash for the control screen in my Ford Taurus so i mounted it on the bottom of the dash.

| hardhit99's Full Review: Pioneer CDX-FM653 6-Disc CD Changer |
The system was easy to install with the FM modulator. Pioneer includes plenty of wiring for any size vehicle. Although the directions for installation are not very thorough, Pioneer made it easy enough to install even if you have little or no experience in installation.
The text feature is an awesome feature on this system. It allows you to program a title in for every disc and instead of viewing the discs by number you can see the titles that you give them. It also supports CD TEXT encoded CD's which is great because you get to see not only the pre-programmed disc title, but you can also see the scrolling song titles for every track on a CD TEXT encoded CD. Don't worry if the CD does not have the new TEXT encoding, you can still program in disc titles.
I never experienced any problems with skipping at all and I'm a crazy driver. I've also never had a problem getting a crystal clear signal with the FM modulator. There are a lot of frequencies to choose from and the system is totally customizable down to the output level of the changer itself. It also allows for treble increase and allows you to view the title if the CD's that are in the changer without having to stop playing the current CD.
Overall i am very impressed and very happy with this system and i have seen a lot of them. Pioneer has never let me down yet.
