| GustavusShaw's Full Review: JBL GTi 1800GTi Car Speaker |
The 18 inch subwoofer from JBL is beyond earth shattering. It can handle around 1800w peak and about 600wrms. It plays as deep as 18Hz and packs enough punch to blow out a windshield or two. Its cone is almost as indestructible as kevlar(Kickers) and its power handling is tremendous.
If you want to show people how its done, bass wise that is The 1800Gti will fit the bill with super bass output. It displaces so much air that it easily out preforms 2 12's with ease. You will see your clothes ripple and your ear drums will feel like they are about to pop.
Can your vehicle take the severe punishment that these subs can deliver? Because if it can't, don't even think about purchasing this massive bass machine. Any bass Cd you put in it will hit so low you'll think your trying to communicate with whales or elephants.
The price isn't all that high considering your getting about 2 competition 10's in the shell of an massive 18. You won't be disappointed n the sound quality either because JBL has passed its award winning sound quality on to is next contender for the never ending bass race.
