Why a 18" woofer?

Cons: too big for a normal car..good for SUV's

In my opinion, a 18" subwoofer can provide bass from almost all frequencies. The only problem is timing. It is better to have 18" subwoofers for deeper bass and a smaller size for faster up beat tones. I currently have 2 JBL 1800 18" subwoofers and I love them. They make the sound complete and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a loud system in their car. These sound best in a sealed box with a devider if you have two woofers. These woofers are very affordable and are a great quality woofer especially coming from JBL. The size magnet isnt what I thought it would be. The range of frequencies are amazing how this subwoofer acts. This subwoofer is good for someone who enjoys lots of bass and like to feel it and not hear it. It's a great price, you cant beat it.
