Pros: Good Bass (When Free-Air), Clear Highs, & Nice Look
Cons: Distorted Bass (When In Boxes), Overpriced, & Requires Too Much Power For Good Sound
The Bottom Line: Decent speakers, but I would have to suggest to purchase a standard 3-way speaker.

These are not all what they appear to be. You can get much better speakers, that are only 3-way, with way better bass and clearer highs, and to sound good don't even need an amplifier.
I had them in the rear deck of one of my cars, powered by a 2x50 watt amplifier. They sounded pretty good. I later put them in carpeted Q-Logic Boxes and they looked nice, but the bass was no where near as loud and clear, and just wasn't right.
All in all I would suggest getting some regular 6x9's with a rubber surround. Infinity makes them, but they are kind of pricey also. Rockford Fosgate makes some also, but they are even more expensive. Most of the time you get what you pay for but in the case of the Pioneer 4-ways, it isn't that way.
