There are many factors that you have to take to mind when you purchase a speaker, and if you're looking for specifics such as mid-range and tweeters, the Polk db series are the perfect speakers for you.
This series features specialized speakers which give you the specific sounds that you want. Mid-range for the people who want the bass, and the voice and the majority of instruments. And the Tweeters which are the higher range speakers, that let you hear every high pitched sound that the song will provide, straight to your ears in extremely high quality.
Along with it's excellent sound, what I like the best about these speakers are their durability. Some speakers can basically fall apart due to humidity, extreme heat, etc... Not anymore! The cones are mineral filled and bonded molecularly!! to the rubber surrounding which is said to have perfect adhesion!
Polk also features an exclusive technology. The Dynamic Balance technology (which is featured in the tweeters) which basically in a nut-shell guarantees the best possible sound the speaker can possibly produce.
All and all, if you want to go specific and customize your sound system down to a tee, go with the Polk db series.
