If you love music as much as I do then you will understand why sound quality and power for speakers is a major key in picking a stereo. I went on a six month searching spree looking for a deck to slide into my dash when I stumbled upon this receiver. I knew that this would be the one that I would soon own. The features that most appealed to me was the rotary control knob, bright face lights, and easily controlable buttons. Price was also a major importance for me as a normal consumer on a tight budget, anyone with bills to pay would understand what I mean. Alpine has been know for many years for great quality equipment, I always hear of people speaking of Alpines reliability being none towards the better. If you understood the nature of electronics you would know that the better you treat the equipment the better it will treat you and the longer it will last. I personally have never had a problem with this receiver and I'm going on a year of useage. This would be a great receiver for the beginner in car audio. It is really expandable and really easy to use even for the first-timer. With the combination of cost to quality this gets an A+.
