I only bought the stereo at first because it was so cheap. To tell you the truth I've never owned a JVC product. I usually go with AIWA or SONY. Well after I got it installed I was looking through the manual and I saw "Cruise Control" Now that puzzled me, but I was surprised.
Cruise Control is a feature that you can use to keep the music level where you like it. It will automatically adjust for you. All you have to do is drive. So when you are going on to the highway it will turn up and in most cases you can't tell.
The second feature that I thought was nice is when the stereo is off it folds up and turns completely black. You can't tell what kind of stereo it is.
And finally the third thing that I liked about this model was the option to go straight to a song you like by pushing a numbered button. Oh yeah also you can adjust the bass and trebil volume or use a preset like "POP".
