DON'T BUY JVC

Pros: Very happy for the first 10 months then it broke.

Cons: JVC doesn't stand behind their products.

The Bottom Line: I told them "I was going to make sure that at least 10 times the price I paid for the unit would diverted from their retail sales."

The first unit I bought for my wife for Christmas. About a month later somebody cut the convertible trying to get to it. The face plate doesn't really disguise the unit and thieves are not entirely stupid. All they succeeded in doing was messing up the face plate. Insurance replaced the unit and then 10 months later it quit. Trying to get JVC's attention has really been difficult. I sent it to JVC twice and they said that the corrosion in the unit was due to customer abuse. Not true, I think they just don't want to replace the unit because they can't fix it. If your looking for a good unit to last about 10 months this is it. If you expect more than that DON'T BUY JVC.
