The Nakamichi stereos are great. I work for a large stereo store in La and have a lot of experience with car audio equipment. Although the Nakamichi series of stereos are not really great looking, like Clarion or Pioneer, but the quality is great. The sound quality is really good, far better than the Kenwoods and Alpines. The cds dont skip and the machine seems to read stratched cds very well. Nakamichi is not as weel known, but their stereo perform great and can be compared to Eclipse, Clarion or Mcintosh. The price is not half bad, about 350 installed. The faetures are not really extensive but it offers a lot for its price. Th next model up is a little too much 1500, but this machine is great for the price. I would recommend it if you dont like Clarion or Eclipse, machines which are a little more expensive. The buttons are large and easy to use, and the durability is quite good. We dont seem to get any complaints at the store and no one has brought one in for service ever.
