The Pioneer DEH-1000P is an excellent buy. It is a reasonably priced, quality cd player. It has many great features:
1) Ease of Use - It is very simple to use, but offers great control of sound quality as well.
2) Equalizer - It is by far the best equalizer I have seen on a cd player of any price.
3) Power - It has a huge power rating of 45X4 (which means 45 watts per channel, 4 channels)
4) Price - Though prices will vary, you can purchase this for $190 on Pioneer's web site. That may sound like a lot of money, but it really isn't for a cd player, especially one of this quality.
There are many reasons to purchase this cd player. It is a very reliable deck. It has many features that most cd players don't have unless they are quite a bit more expensive. It has numerous features for the radio including BSM (Best station memory) which automatically presets radio stations for you with the touch of a button. I would recommend this for anyone who wants a great cd player that puts out a lot of power and is very flexible is sound "tweaking".
