Pros: Powerful Sound, Many Features, and Detachable Face.

Cons: The Detachable Face is expensive to replace, but that's true of any receiver.
mdyer2000's Full Review: Pioneer DEH-P2000 Car CD Player
The Pioneer DEH-P2000 is a 180-watt receiver with a built-in CD Player. The max output is 45-watts per channel. I've owned this receiver for 2 years now and I'm still very impressed with it's sound quality. It will let you customize the Equalizer. You can alter the Lows, Mids, and Highs. If you connect this receiver to a pair of Cerwin-Vega 6x9's and Rockford Fosgate 4"'s, you'll get tons of sound -- and that's a regular set-up. If you have factory-installed speakers, you may want to upgrade them. My factory speakers blew out when I played Eminem's "My Name Is" song. If you get any receiver, get this one -- it rocks.
