The Pioneer DEH1000 is an awesome piece in my opinion.Lets start with the EZ EQ.The EZ EQ really earns is name in this piece. Built in 3 band EQ with 7 factory presets set for real world use.(by the average user) plus a custom setting .
Lets talk power.Pioneer has started a trend here with the 45 watts by 4 .Many manufacturers are following suit.Not only does it boast 45 watts by 4 but it does it with a mosfet chip.So now youre talking about dependable power (the same that all good amplifiers use)
You want sound quality?The pioneer is one of if not the best for sound quality in its respective price range.The noise floor is surprisingly low.The extra power allows for better sound with less distortion at higher volume levels.
As far as features go I havent found one better for the price.Combine the Ez Eq with the selectable 3 position loudness ,Front Image Enhancement,Dual preamp outputs , CD Changer controller,Detachable face security, and overall layout of the controls and youve got the makngs for one killer low priced head unit.
