The pioneer DEH-P4000 was the first aftermarket cd player i ever bought and i just loved it. It lasted me throughout high school and would probably still be going great but i have since upgraded it. It was an incredible deal and for just 250 dollars, its definitely the best cd receiver out there in that price range. The 45 watts per channel were great and the bright colored display was a nice touch too.
I really liked the way the easy eq worked on it rather then the usual just plain old treble and bass found in most stereos i found it was much easier to get the desired sound with this system. This cd player can really pump out the tunes so you probably will need to replace your factory speakers if you haven't already to get the most out of your listening experience.
Last but not least the detachable face and DFS alarm add an extra since of security and the DFS alarm is very simple to hook up and set up.
