Cons: The price, pretty expensive.
The Bottom Line: If you're willing to spend the money on it and want to maximize your car stereo's performance then I definetly recommend it to others. A great deck!!!!

This deck certainly speaks for itself. It's the first deck to have an electroluminescent display. If you like hi-tech top of the line product then this is definetly the deck for you.

It's got a detachable motorized faceplate, MOSFET 45 watts x 4 peak power, Easy EQ, selectable loudness control, CD text capability, wireless remote control, front image enhancer, CD changer controls, Supertuner III, subwoofer level and phase controls, multi-color electroluminescent display, high and low pass filters, and much much more!!!
Value
This is an amazing deck, although it is over $600, it's worth every penny. Extremely clear full motion graphics and 3D screen savers, what more could you possibly ask for. It lets you totally control how you want your stereo system to sound. The 8000R is really easy to use for all you people looking for easy controls. The Easy EQ lets you switch to whatever settings you prefer. EQ also has a "Custom" setting to let you customize all of the audio levels to where you want them. Clear, crisp, powerful sound is what you're going to get from the 8000R.

You're going to get an insane display from this head unit. The motorized faceplace adds some great style and turns lots of heads when in your vehicle. The screen savers make it even more appealing. It will definetly impress friends when they get into your car, they will be even more impressed with the sound you get out of it also. Definely a wise purchase, also check out the new models of this deck which is the 9200R.
