Well, after having constant trouble with my old Aiwa cd player with it constantly skipping as well as scratching my cd's I decided that it was time for a change.
This change could not have come sooner. I purchased the Pioneer DEH-P8000R several months ago and have been raving about it ever since.
I haven't had a single complaint about this product, once I got over the shock of paying $680 for it! This is a lot to pay for a cd player but it is well worth the extra money to get reliable quality.
I have not had it skip a single second no matter what size bump I hit which are many due to the road conditions near my house. The sound quality is excellent and you can easily adjust the various settings to your liking. Also included with this cd player was a handy little remote that makes adjusting the volume, etc a lot easier and less dangerous!
Although, I would not recommend this to the average music listener, I highly suggest that you give it a try if you demand top notch performance from your cd player and are willing to pay the extra to get something that will last. Thanks for your time and enjoy your car audio shopping experience.
