Pros: Amazing sound quality & Vast amount of features built-in.
Cons: A little hard to figure out the more advanced features without the manual.
The Bottom Line: This unit makes a superb choice as the center of any high-end system.

The P1R is an incredible unit from Pioneer. Being a car audio equipment exporter I have owned many in-dash cd receivers. The P1R is by far the best. From its clean looks to its perfect sound quality & built-in features. Pro-mode even allows you to individually adjust time delay of your speakers to acheive a perfect center channel image in just about any car on the road. Its auto-eq features make fine tuning your systems frequency response an automated process. The built-in cross overs for all speakers also allow you to cross-up your mids & highs to filter out the bass, which means you can get the most out of your speakers. All in all this unit is a top performer & will probably be the last player I buy for a very long time.
