decent head unit

This head unit is your standard head unit. It has all of your basic needs but that is all you are gonna get. This would be good for someone that isnt looking for competition grade equipment.
I had this hooked up to an mtx thunder 405 amp pushing 2 12" mtx thunder 5000s, set of mb quarts components in the door and the rear deck. This setup rocked, and it rocked hard! I loved this setup I thought that it was as good as it was going to get, then i got a my new Clarion Pro Audio head unit.
I would have never guesses but this new head unit made a big difference in my sound system. The 4v pre-amp outputs made my system a whole lot more clear. So yes i would recomend this to the average user but to the audiophile enthusiast i would recomend something a little more high end. You will be a better off in the long end. I have been doing this a long time and know this from experience.
