I purchased this tube for three reasons, price, brand name reputation, and easy use.
I purchased this tube on line for around $120.00 after shopping around. I found it difficult to find Bazooka tubes at chain stores, and the stereo places in town wanted too much money, so I found that the on line auction was the way to go.
Bazooka has a reputation of being loud and well built. Since I plan on having my tube for a long time, durability was a major issue with me. After handling this tube, I feel it's solidly built and will be able to handle my softball equipment rolling around for years to come. What also attracted me to this tube was how easy it is to install and remove. The only thing you have to do is unstrap it, and unplug the wiring harness in the back. I love this because I don't like to keep it in the trunk if I'm away for a few days.
After a quick installation into my Honda Civic Coupe, I turned on my stereo and was quite surprised at the power this tube has. I have a Kicker 240 watt amp connected to my 4 front and rear speakers; this tube complimented my setup perfectly. Suddenly my music had new definition and plenty of base to rattle my mirrors. I also like the fact that I can set the amount of base coming from it as I listen to Rock and don't want to thump down the street. This tube is perfect for my setup and would go well in all small to mid-sized cars.
